If they decide to put me in the hospital...?

Okay so I asked before about my blood sugars and one of the nurses saying that hospitalizing me may be an option. So, I see the doctor on Friday and I am going to ask them if it is an option. If they say yes, to stabilize my blood sugars better and get them under control, when will I be put into the hospital? Right then and there? My doctors office is in a hospital, but not the hospital that has Labor & Delivery. Do you think I would stay at the hospital he is at or go to the one where they have L&D? Basically, my blood sugars have been under control, except they keep going to low and then too high. For example, they will go from 150 to 30 some thing.. Which is not good. They cannot increase my insulin or decrease it, which is why putting me in the hospital for monitoring is an option. They said to give it a couple days to see if I could manage it better, but its not seeming to work. So when I see them Friday, do you think they would admit me then, or what? I am just nervous and don't know what to expect. I am also 25 weeks pregnant so making sure I keep my sugars stabilized is the most important thing. Any help or ideas to what may go on?
