Why does Yahoo Personals open now when I start Yahoo Messenger?

Why does Yahoo Personals open now when I start Yahoo Messenger? I don't want this unnecessary start-up. How do I disable it please? I have not used this in many years. Why does it suddently start now??? When I hit "go" it says that this is no longer available and will direct me to the personals page of me looking for a partner. I am married, happily, I don't want another partner. I find this extremely annoying.
