Can anyone recommend a good book series about witches?

I am not 16, I am an adult. I have read all Laurell K Hamilton's books and am feeling the drought. I need something to read (something to get addicted to like those). I do not want to read twilight or some other young adult series. I would even ask for other vampire series, if you know any other good ones for adults. (I have also read Anne Rice, so that's out too.
