Am I being a Bah Humbug?

I am getting a bit peeved at the obligitory santa at ever christmas party I take my children to. so far they have met 3, and are likley to see another 2 before the real deal comes down the chimney. What is wrong with Santa leaving presents for kids under the christmas tree at parties - keep up the mystery & excitement of it all!! I recon the organisers are well meaning, but ultimatley the children will see through all this fakeness and the period of belief will become shorter and shorter. Our kids are too smart these days - Much wiser than we were.
